About the new permission “SuperUser”:
This permission is now requested to make Total Commander work better on rooted devices. It tells the SuperUser app that Total Commander suports root functions. It has no effect if your device is not rooted. Root functions allow Total Commander to write to system folders like /system or /data. You will be warned before anything is written if the partition is write protected.

Fixed: Editor, Media Player: try to convert all received content: URLs to local file names if possible, because the right to access content URLs is lost when the player activity is closed
Fixed: Do not treat files with unknown extensions like .bit as type “application/octet-stream” when opening them
Fixed: “Open with” with content: URL parameter didn’t always grant the receiving app the rights to access the data on older Android versions
Fixed: Editor and media player still showed white Android default buttons in dark mode when launched separately without Total Commander running
Added: Also add tags “track number” and “album” when scanning files in ringtones and alarms and notifications directories
Added: Media Player, click to queue mode: Always leave this mode when clicking on any non-media file
